My Goodreads to-read list is a little ridiculous. To the tune of over 400 books to read, ridiculous. And you fabulous authors just keep putting out more and more amazing books! It’s hard to even know where to start sometimes.

That’s where you come in.

Every week (hopefully) I’m going to post a poll where YOU can vote on what I read next. The books will be selected at random from my Goodreads to-read list. It will not be a tournament situation (for example, if Book A loses one week, Book A will not be on the ballot the following week).

So right now I’m finishing up The Secret History by Donna Tartt (longest book of my LIFE). What should I read next? (Click through to the Goodreads page.)

UPDATE: The winner is If I StayThe Name of the Wind got a late surge, but still ended up one point behind. But, given the fact that I already own it, that it got so many late votes, and that my bff Lanette gave an impassioned argument in its favor in the comments, I’ll go ahead and read it after If I Stay.

    1. It’s got a lot of old stuff on it, to be fair, including a lot that I probably am not actually interested in reading. I should go through it and trim the fat, haha.

  1. Spiv, this is not even a question. I dunno what that other book is but Name of the Wind is literally one of the best fantasy novels I’ve ever read, bar none. Everyday you spend as an editor of speculative fiction having not read it, is a travesty. #Iamreallypassionateaboutthis #canyoutell <3, GNL

    1. Yes, exactly! It really takes the pressure off. Although, it does come with a side helping of guilt if you end up not liking the book, haha.

Tell me something
