You might have noticed there hasn’t been much activity on the blog lately. This is because I’ve been furiously working on finishing all my work editing projects and a mess of personal revisions before my wedding.
Which is in a week and a half.
Yeah. So on top of finishing up work stuff and writing stuff, there’s all this wedding stuff to do. Like rent ramekins. And paint centerpieces. And do a seating chart.
Nah, it’s been fun, and we’re really in pretty good shape. (I say this now.) I’m going to do my best to relax and get my work done so that by the time family and friends start rolling in, I won’t have a care in the world. Except for, you know, who is going to drive us to the venue after photos. And who is going to bring the car around to pick us up. And whether we’ll get all the creme brulee made in time. And whether people will like the food. And if people will dance to our admittedly weird music. And whether the ceremony will run over its time limit. And whether anyone will be seriously appalled by some of our choices.
(PS, I’m just realizing that I never shared with you our amazing Sherlock-Doctor Who-Firefly-Supernatural-House inspired engagement shoot. Check out out!)
So I’ll be pretty MIA for all of June, because after the wedding we’re going on a honeymoon. I don’t know where. My soon-to-be sister-in-law and assorted family have gifted us what I’m sure is going to be a glorious trip…somewhere.
So I beg your indulgence over the next few weeks and promise to return before you know it with book reviews, writing advice, and political opinions. Just know that I’ll be thinking of you while we party.
