I really enjoyed doing Zombie Love Month here on the blog, and I hope you all did too. I’ve decided to keep up the fun with another month of theme reviews!
The theme for March will be Girl2 (or Girl Squared or Girl^2, depending on where HTML works and where it doesn’t!). I’ll be reading books with at least two female protagonists. My three picks for this month are:
- The Girl Who Would Be King, by Kelly Thompson
- Mind Games, by Kiersten White
- Sorcery and Cecelia, by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer
In addition to reviewing these three, I’ll try to do some supplementary posts on girls in fiction and on our culture of girl-on-girl hate, judgment, and peer policing. If there are any questions in particular that you’d like me to try and answer, or topics you’d like me to address, please feel free to comment with them! And if you’d like to participate, comment and let me know what you’re reading or if you’re reading along with me.
P.S. My anniversary giveaway is still open to entries! Check it out here and enter to win a copy of Warm Bodies!
